TRI’s Picks January 1 Balmoral

Balmoral Park Pick 4, Races 9-12, Sunday, January 1, 2012

Happy new year to all! Hopefully 2012 will be very generous to us, giving us plenty of winning tickets. Good luck!

$2 Play: 3/36/3/10 = $4

Analysis:

Race 9- (3) Got ‘Er Done does very well in this company in every start. He’s stepping down back into this company and should improve.

Race 10- (3) Credit Blues moves inside after finishing fourth in his last four starts. He should do better with post 3. (6) Mad Cow Lisa got passed by rivals who had more stamina in the stretch. She still gained ground, but finished fifth. In this field, she should improve.

Race 11- (3) Tune In won three straight, two in this company and once in non-winners of three. If she does not provide us with a race, I will be shocked.

Race 12- (10) Itzalassi was first over in her last start and lost due to broken equipment. If that mishap does not happen again, watch her pace away.

TRI’s Picks December 31 Balmoral

Balmoral Park Pick 4, Races 8-11, Saturday, December 31, 2011

We took a hiatus and skipped Wednesday’s Pick 4 at Balmoral. Our last ticket was last Wednesday, which resulted in one winner, Masterchargeit ($2.80). We come back and are excited for the final Pick 4 ticket ever to be made in 2011! Good luck!

$2 Play: 19/1/49/8 = $8

Analysis:

Race 8- (1) Slippin Away is stepping up from good efforts in non-winners of $2,500 company. The rail will help her improve. (9) Kennans Nancy Lee did well in this class before stepping up at Maywood, where she still did well. Her post is nothing to fear.

Race 9- (1) Vette Man gets the rail after racing from outside posts in his last six starts. He stays in this company and will be able to save some energy for the final strides of the mile.

Race 10- (4) Allamerican Solo moves inside from a magnificent effort from post 9 in this company. He should improve tonight. (9) Ccs Lover N has done well in this company. He was used twice in his last start from post 9. If Marcus Miller doesn’t use his energy up, watch this horse flying to the lead.

Race 11- (8) Vivid Voltage is the class of this race. His post will likely not hurt him and he should improve in this step down.

TRI’s Picks December 21 Balmoral

After a long hiatus, we are back and confident about tonight’s ticket. I warn you, play any of the following horses if they are 4-1 and up. Good luck!

$2 Play: 13/4/310/2 = $8

Analysis:

Race 7- (1) Just Win moves to the rail after a victory from post 10. If she doesn’t show anything, I’d be suspicious. (3) Ar Sissy has done well in this company. She raced in tougher races and didn’t provide a good race. Now she returns to this company and gets a better post position.

Race 8- (4) Masterchargeit did well from the rail in the non-winners of four ranks. He returns here and I’m optimistic that he will be a decent price.

Race 9- (3) Bright Miss Johnny performed better than expected in her last start. I wouldn’t roll her out of the race just yet. (10) A Nite To Remember has had a couple of bad trips in this company. She draws the far outside, which may have no effect. If she gets cover, watch out.

Race 10- (2) Crime Scene Cruzer is stepping down after a failed first over attempt in his last race. He looks to improve in this step down in class.
